High drama at the Nelson final in what was an exceptionally hard fought game. Willie’s team taking a strong 3 shot lead after 4 ends and looked in command of the game. Team Hay dug deep and fought back taking a one shot lead going into the 7th and final end leaving Willie to draw for the peel and force the skips to draw for it. However on tricky ice to judge played and just undershot the four foot leaving Sandy lying one. A tremendous game for the heaving crowd in the bar who were treated to a brilliant game on a dreich Friday night.
