Well, we’ve had our first early final of the season, this year the Nelson was run as a knockout competition to accomodate the 4 rinks. After the initial head to head round, Sandy Hay & his rink had a comfortable win in the final over Team Paterson winning 5 ends to 2 ends. Peels after 4 but then Team Hay pulled away taking the next 3, shaking hands after the 7th.

Willie & his rink played well but their opponents played better, with Rob doing as he was told to set up the front end, George kept it clean or played the draw as needed & Johnny was on fire with his double take outs leaving Sandy to finish the job.
