The final game of the Skips & Thirds was played on Wed 21st between the rinks normally skipped by Jim and Willie but due to both skips playing in Perth Sandy and John Curran stood in. The old head got off to a cracking start and was 7 up by the third end. John managed a revival over the subsequent 2 ends but a four in the 6th made Johns 1 in the final end irrelevent.

With 2 wins out of 2 Willie’s rink lift the Skips & thirds Trophy, although it helps having the previous winner as your third.
