Orwell kicked off our Bi-Centennial Season with the annual bonspiel for the Channel Trophy. Four rinks skipped by Johnny Nelson, Ewan Jones, Allan Dearing and the current president John Curran played each other with each rink trying to get as many points on the board as possible. Ewan and Johnny’s game was close ending up in an 7-7 draw. Allan also had 7 points but as he managed to win his game. His full rink comrised of;
